Explore how art inspired art in three musical compositions based on works by the immortal Bard.

The Merry Wives Of Windsor brings the wit and whimsy of Falstaff to musical life. Sibelius' The Tempest captures the wonder and tragedy of Shakespeare's last play. A Midsummer Night's Dream takes us to a magical place where fantasy meets reality on enchanted summer night.

A special bonus: Celebrating their 10th anniversary, actors from Shakespeare On The Sound will join the NSO to play the scenes that inspired the music, and female voices of the Mendelssohn Choir of Connecticut will round out the performance.
