The Choirs of St. Paul’s On The Green; Southern Connecticut Camerata
Mozart’s Requiem Mass is one of the most profound utterances in the history of classical music. Popularized by the movie Amadeus and unfinished at the time of the composer’s death, it contains some of Mozart’s most affecting music. The NSO will be joined by the remarkable choirs of St. Paul’s on the Green and the Southern Connecticut Camerata in what promises to be a momentous evening. To show the great musical distances Mozart traveled in his brief 35 years, the Requiem will be paired with his charming first symphony, which he wrote at the age of 8.
