Broadway Pops in The Park

Join us for an afternoon of wonderful music, featuring some of Broadway's most renowned performers. This unique, free concert will be performed from the idyllic setting of the Great Lawn at Gallaher Mansion in Norwalk's Cranbury Park.

Emmy and Grammy winning Music Director, Producer and Arranger Paul Bogaev is leading a start-studded program of your favorite Broadway music. His file credits include Ocasr-Winning Chicago, Nine, Dreamgirls, Across the Universe, Mulan and The Lion King. Among his many Broadway credits are Aida, Tarzan, Bombay Dreams, Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables, Cinderella, Annie and South Pacific.

Fred has also played cello in the Broadway pit orchestras of The Boy from Oz, starring Hugh Jackman, and The Phantom of the Opera. He is a native of Colorado and earned degrees in voice/theatre and cello performance at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES: SCOTT BRYCE
Bryce is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Craig Montgomery on As the World Turns. Bryce grew up in Westport, Connecticut where he was an active member of The Staples Players student theater group. He appeared at the Palace Theater on Broadway in Caesar & Cleopatra and is a two-time Emmy Award nominee. Bryce opened a three-camera television studio in an old vaudeville theater in Connecticut and has also made numerous guest starring appearances in primetime, including roles on Murphy Brown, ER, Law & Order, Reb and Sex and the City.
PRODUCER: KRISTIN HUFFMAN
Kristin Huffman appeared in the Tony award winning Broadway musical by Stephen Sondheim-"Company". It also won a Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Drama League Awards for Best Revival of a Musical in which she played the leading role of “Sarah” as well as flute, sax and piccolo. The production was filmed and aired on PBS's Great Performances.
She is the Producing Artistic Director of The New Paradigm Theatre, a professional non profit (501 c 3) theatre company and she has a career that has spanned over 20 years professionally performing with operas, theatres, symphonies around the US/Europe including the International tour of Phantom as "Christine". As a former Miss Ohio/Runner-up Miss America she continues hosting and producing charity events. She is a professor at the University of Hartford and is a member of Actors Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG/AFTRA),and she frequently judges international choir competitions in the US and Canada.
