The 2010-2011 Season will bring with it incredible programming and enhanced community friendly activities. The 2009-2010 Season has so far had many exhilarating moments but with it has also come many challenges due to the current economic climate. We thank you for your continued support and to help you we have realigned our pricing and seating structure to be more accessible. We also pledge to you to continue to support you and our local economy in all we do. Our organization is comprised of over 70 people, musicians and employees, who live and work here in Fairfield County. We will continue to be dedicated to supporting local businesses through our graphic designers, printing needs, photography, office supplies, and many other revenue-disbursing activities. Throughout the course of our fiscal year our programs contribute to our local economy. As loyal subscribers of the NSO we know you believe in our programs and we are working hard to continue to bring you quality programs despite the ever-changing obstacles of these times. Therefore, the 2010-2011 Season will have several subscription series with discounts varying between 10% and 33%. We have adjusted our prices to ensure we can continue to benefit as many residents of Fairfield County as possible. We have also increased the number of low priced seats in our auditorium. Please see the included seating diagram. As your partner we ask for your help. We ask each of you to make a gift that is meaningful to you. Our Symphony operates on hard work by the musicians, board, and staff and donations that show your dedication, love, and belief in all we add to those living in our community. Your donations are essential to our well-being, and your active support is just as powerful. We ask that this upcoming season you help to bring your friends and relatives to our concerts and events. Often it is easier to ask someone to join you at a concert, an event, or a dinner than it is to convince him/her to dig deep into pockets that are not as full as they used to be. Ticket sales are a driving force; if each of us were to bring one friend to every concert we attend, our organization and community would grow artistically stronger together. Helping each other is what makes a community strong. We promise that with your support in addition to providing fabulous musical programs for music enthusiasts, musicians, children, the elderly, and the disadvantaged we will find even more ways to support our community in need. During our Early Subscription Campaign we ask you to renew your subscriptions for the NSO now and save the dates we have scheduled. These discount prices are for a limited time only; pricing will increase after May 1st. Please consider renewing your interest in these concerts or becoming a first time subscriber.
