Diane Wittry is a "dynamic conductor who gets to the soul of the music". A superb musician with an innovative programming style, Ms. Wittry is widely sought after as a guest conductor. She has conducted orchestras nationally and internationally. She recently conducted concerts in Italy, Japan, Russia, and Ukraine. American orchestras she has worked with include: The Los Angeles Philharmonic, The San Diego Symphony, The Houston Symphony, The Florida Philharmonic, and The Ojai Festival's Chamber Orchestra, among others. In 2000, Ms. Wittry was singled out by Symphony Magazine as a conductor to watch.

Diane Wittry is currently the Music Director and Conductor of the Allentown Symphony, Pennsylvania. Previously, Ms. Wittry was the Artistic Advisor of the Symphony of Southeast Texas, serving as their Music Director from 1991-2000. With both of these orchestras, her enthusiasm for music and her commitment to education and outreach has had a lasting impact on these communities.

Over the years, Diane Wittry has received many honors and awards including a feature article in Newsweek magazine (Sept. 1994). In 1999, she was honored with an "Arts Ovation Award" from the City of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and she was recently selected to receive the "Women of Excellence" Award in Beaumont, Texas. In 1996, Diane Wittry was chosen by the American Symphony Orchestra League as the recipient of the national "Helen M. Thompson" Award for outstanding artistic leadership as a conductor of a regional orchestra.
