The Norwalk Symphony Orchestra will be joining forces with the wonderful Fairfield County Chorale for a collaboration on one of greatest choral works of all time—Verdi’s Requiem. The composer of many of the best-loved operas wrote one major work that was not an opera—and it is this death mass of awe-inspiring power. Under the baton of FCC Music Director, David Rosenmeyer, Verdi’s monumental work for orchestra, chorus, and soloists will grip your soul with its dramatic contrasts and sweeping beauty.
