FEATURING GRAMMY-NOMINATED SOPRANO LAURA STRICKLING - Also just named #1 on Billboard’s Classical charts!

Three iconic works, written within seven years of each other, bring us to the colorful, varied and vibrant American musical scene of the mid-20th century. Samuel Barber's hauntingly beautiful and nostalgic Knoxville: Summer of 1915 transports you to a bygone Southern childhood. Duke Ellington's jazz-infused Harlem embodies the essence of an uptown Sunday stroll, experiencing the sights and sounds of the Harlem Renaissance. Béla Bartók, born in Hungary but having fled fascism for the States, honored both his new and old homelands in his magnificent and thrilling Concerto for Orchestra.

All performances are held at the Norwalk Concert Hall at
Norwalk City Hall,
125 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
